A Compassionate God

               THE FATHER'S COMPASSION

TEXT LUKE 15:17-20

And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father`s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Good morning friends.

Before I start my message, I must thank you for having to spend time to be in this group and to read and study the words of our God and Maker who gave us His Bible for a guide in every thing.

Let's pray.

Dear God, I am very happy πŸ˜„ to be here as a preaching preacher in Africa who not minding the trending apostasy of his brothers in Christ still stands to preach the full words of Jehovah.

I also thank you for this ten brothers and sisters from Nigeria and sister Uzma Ahmed who lives overseas; I thank you that they honoured my invitation and hereby shall continue to partake of the goodness of truth.

I pray that you guide their minds and mine to learn today of A FATHER'S COMPASSION which is about the story that Big Brother Jesus told a very long time ago. Please as this sermon goes forth, may it circulate planet Earth and invite people not only to this Pulpit but to the very book of Life that the Lamb wrote, writes and will continue to write.

And lastly I pray for the clearest understanding of what is said in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

                       A FATHER'S COMPASSION

Guys, listen
There was a story that Big Brother Jesus told us in the Bible and it is this-

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father`s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

I have less time so I must make it snappy.

We have sinned, so grievous are they that the Father in Heaven has turned His back on us.

We have said so many things so bad that πŸ‘Ό angels close their ears when we talkπŸ—£️, why? We are all sinners that were crafted from sin and daily advance that crafting by evil manners and thoughts that cannot please our Creator.

Before I continue, I must announce to eleven of us that I am a sinner as well as ten of you too. We have all sinned, both graduates, undergraduates and never graduates ( I love this people that never went to school, men, they're lovely, tho not always.)

We all have the mark of Death which is the wages of sin upon our head's. We are all candidates of that place that's so hated by both theists and atheist ( broda, theist is one that believes God while atheist believes no God is or heaven or hell even tho they scream " go to hell" to their enemies.

I don't care if you went to church today or not, whether you have tithes or not or whether you wore a bowtie over your coat or tie a 🧣 over your hair. No that we are all sinners. Got it? 🀷🏿‍♂️

Don't leave me yet, I'm not done, when I'm done then you can return to your work.πŸƒ I'm hungry by the way and I have a lot of cooking to... You know.πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Friends, we have a God who is in the Heavens looking at every thing that we do. God does not care to know if you are black like Lucky Dube or as white as Micheal Jackson; He doesn't care if you are as poor as me or as rich as you; He sees everything.

I'm not talking to churchgoers alone I speak to everyone πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘§πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘§πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘¦‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦

Guys we have sinned.

Well UPK, that's enough. I know that I am a sinner, and so what?

Brother you, you are a sinner and you have a Death sentence hanging over your head right now like a sword tied to a string that will soon fall on you. Ahhhhhhrh! It will soon fall and it will pierce πŸ—‘️πŸ—‘️πŸ—‘️ your head πŸ€΅πŸ‘©‍⚕️ and you will wake up in a place down down down that's burning πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’₯ forever!

Please don't go away yet🚢🚢🚢I'm not done talking πŸ—£️ Read everything before you shoot me πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯ please πŸ™

But God is a compassionate Father who is calling you today

Isaiah 55:
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

O friends, let us return to God today believing that we are helpless sinners that don't deserve any good thing, but that since Jesus has died for all our sins, as we believe now, our names shall be registered in the book of Life.

DO YOU THINK IT IS EASY FOR GOD TO BE YOUR ENEMY?

Let's pray.

Prison Meditations by Bunyan

Prison Meditations by Bunyan Friend, I salute thee in the Lord,  And wish thou may'st abound In faith, and have a good regard  To keep on holy ground. Thou dost encourage me to hold  My head above the flood; Thy counsel better is than gold:  In need thereof I stood. Good counsel's good at any time;  The wise will it receive, Tho' fools count he commits a crime  Who doth good counsel give. I take it kindly at thy hand  Thou didst unto me write; My feet upon Mount Zion stand,  In that take thou delight. I am indeed in prison now  In body, but my mind Is free to study Christ, and how  Unto me he is kind. For tho' men keep my outward man  Within their locks and bars, Yet by the faith of Christ I can  Mount higher than the stars. Their fetters cannot spirits tame,  Nor tie up God from me; My faith and hope they cannot lame;  Above them I shall be. I here am very much refreshed  To think, when I was out I preach...
